The Mad Money guy, Jim Cramer, has been pitted against a dart-throwing monkey, Leonard, in a stock-picking duel. Cramer has a slight edge over the past 30 days (Jim Cramer has been right 49.76% of the time, compared with Leonard's 49.47%).

The conditions at Mt Rose yesterday were so-so. They hadn't opened the chutes (or really much of anything) so we skied the same run all day :-) To keep it interesting, I tried one-legged skiing (right and left), backwards skiing, one-legged backwards skiing (not recommended) and some very tiny jumps. The jumping is what got me into trouble with my boots. These boots don't fit quite right and now I've got the black toe (nail). It was still worth it.
Anyone who knows me well, wouldn't be surprised to know that I subscribe to a Google alert for the search term "Andrew Bunner". Almost as funny as this is that my friend and former co-worker is spending some of his AdWords budget on that same search term to direct me to his blog when I do my vanity search (note the lone ad in the right column). The tragedy is that Google is pretty efficient by today's standards at indexing this site and, six hours later, my content-free drivel is immortalized (temporarily) in Google's index.
Hats off to the Vox team for making us so spider friendly.
Now, I'm inspired to write content that's worth searching for! While I'm working on that, better content can be found at the above-mentioned friend and former co-worker's blog.
[Update] Thank you, Craigslist! Some poor guy had his X-Box, TV and PS2 stolen from his storage unit and so he bought all the stuff I was trying to get rid of room. Now it's again a living room (with room)
I need to make some room in my living room. It's become a living no-room.
See my Craigslist postings and take my stuff!
Fancy, 27" must-have, Trinitron TV
Original XBox and some games (I hope Halo 3 comes out soon... selling Halo 2)
My Old-Skool PS2 and some games

p.s. Neck is feeling a little bit better today. I hurt it doing front dumbbell raises. At the top of the movement I heard a *crack!* and something started hurting. Being the smart and prudent person that I am, I continued my workout... but with lower weights (see the prudence?)
I hurt my neck today at the gym... pulled a muscle or something. So I have an ice-pack on. While I'm waiting for my new X-Box 360 to download the latest map-packs for Halo 2 :-)
I think my neck will be better in a couple days or so--I did this once in college doing bent-over rows and I was very stiff for a couple days, but then it just went away. Feels like the same thing.
I want one of these crazy pogo sticks (that's the shopping cart link)

There's not quite enough snow to ski here at Mt Rose. It's nice to be out of the Bay Area for a bit, though. Tomorrow, I'll check on lift statuses.
I'm five books into his Reality Dysfunction trilogy. And it's getting pretty boring. So many words that aren't required for the plot. So many sub-plots that I don't care about. It feels like I'm reading a futuristic newscast.
Sooo funny. And loveable. Demetri's comedy special is on YouTube courtesy of a legal oversight. Highly recommend all three epidsodes.
